Lora -Testimonies

Severe torture and some seventy missing detainees is the reality of Split's Lora Stockade in which more than 1,000 persons from Split, Dalmatia, neighboring Bosnia-Herzegovina and the rump Yugoslavia were detained between 1992 and 1996.

A film about the prison located in Split's Lora Stockade, where more than 1,000 persons from Split, Dalmatia, neighboring Bosnia-Herzegovina and the rump Yugoslavia were detained between 1992 and 1996. Severe torture and some seventy missing detainees is the reality of that place, located in downtown Split. None of that prevented Judge Slavko Lozina to rule in 2002 that the accused for these charges were innocent. The film gives testimonies of former detainees, but also of generals, former head of Split Police, lawyers and journalists, reflecting the political situation in Split and Croatia in those days.
