Graham Bamford, a British citizen, set himself alight in front of the House of Commons of the British Parliament on 29 April 1993 in an attempt to change the British Government's attitude towards the aggression on Bosnia-Herzegovina and Croatia. This is a film about Graham, his action and the silence built around it. It is also a film about the filmmaker – almost of the same age as Brian – and his effort to produce a film about the event. The comments of Graham's father (who did not want to share them with the filmmaker at the time when the first version was made) were added to the 2006 version.

In 1998, the film was shown in the British Parliament.
