Factum is the leading Croatian independent documentary production. In the twenty five years of its existence it produced more than 80 documentaries, shown at more than hundred festivals.

Blockade was selected for the festival official programme. On 6 and 7 April, the screenings and Q&A will be attended by director Igor Bezinović and Oliver Sertić, one of the producers. After this festival premiere, the film will be screened at several American universities.
Within Cinema Politica network, Blockade will be presented on 4 April to students in Gothenburg, Sweden, and Belgrade, Serbia, and on 10 April to students of Kitchener-Waterloo University in Ontario, Canada. In May, Blockade will be presented at Planet Doc Review in Warsaw.
The film about the occupation of Zagreb’s Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in a fight for free education in 2009 has so far participated at 15 festivals and several special screenings in Canada, Germany, Belgium, Czech Republic, Turkey, Macedonia, Hungary, Montenegro, Serbia, Croatia and Kosovo.
It has received a special mention among Middle and Eastern European documentaries (Between the Seas) at the International Documentary Film Festival in Jihlava, Czech Republic, a jury special mention at Montenegro’s Underhillfest, and Audience Award and Oktavijan Award for best documentary film at the Days of Croatian Film in 2012. After Croatian distribution, in early 2013 the film was successfully distributed in independent Slovenian cinemas.
