The jury decided to give the award to Tiha K. Gudac for an extraordinary combination of an important but hidden historical subject and profound and emotionally powerful intimacy, connecting archive materials and touching testimonies of the victims.
Tatjana Božić and Alexander Goekjian won the award for Happily Ever After, a humorous and ruthless portrayal of director Tatjana Božić’s love life.
For production courage in the film Naked Island, Happily Ever After and Passage for Stella by Ljiljana Šišmanović, the award for best production went to the founder and CEO of Factum, producer Nenad Puhovski.
All the award-winning films screened in regional competition, and the festival’s off-competition section also screened Matija Vukšić’s documentary Children of Transition.
