Peacemaker in MoMA!

Celebrating its 25th edition, MoMA’s annual festival of documentary cinema highlights significant new discoveries in nonfiction filmmaking. From immersive cinéma vérité and innovative essay films to bold hybrid works that blur the line between documentary and fiction, the festival brings adventurous voices and thought-provoking perspectives from around the world to New York audiences.

Doc Fortnight 2026 presents 14 feature-length films alongside 19 short and medium-length works by both emerging and established filmmakers working across the nonfiction field. Throughout this year’s programme, filmmakers engage with political histories through personal narratives, unseen archival materials, speculative re-enactments, and reflections on the nature of memory and commemoration.

Peacemaker is scheduled for March 1st, and the screening will be followed by a Q&A with director Ivan Ramljak. The team couldn't be more proud!
