Last year Factum with its three new films swept a record-breaking number of prestigious awards and took part in dozens of Croatian and foreign festivals.

Independent cinema release of Factum's films produced in 2016 begins in May – the local audience will get a chance to see all three films at Zlatna vrata in Split, Valli Cinema in Pula and Ivan Rabuzin Cultural Centre in Novi Marof.

The films Generation '68 by Nenad Puhovski, Dum Spiro Spero by Pero Kvesić, and A Two Way Mirror by Katarina Zrinka Matijević continue their tour around the festival circuit as well; in May they will be travelling to Peru, Poland, Austria, Thailand and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Generation '68 is the director's cinematic homage to the generation with which he shares his youthful enthusiasm and the idea of a revolution that would change the world, 'be realistic and demand the impossible'. The international premiere of the film happened in competition at BelDocs, a documentary film festival in Serbia, after which the film screened at DokuFest Prizren and Pula Film Festival, winning the Golden Arena award for original score.

Although the documentary film Dum Spiro Spero speaks about death, it is in fact – a story about life. Acclaimed writer Pero Kvesić, after many books, finally made his first film, combing his literati experience with cinematic language. The film has won a series of awards: Croatian Film Days 2016 – Grand Prix; Pula Film Festival – Vedran Šamanović Award; Liburnia Film Festival 2016 – best film; La Cabina, Spain – best documentary film; Festival dei Popoli, Florence – best medium-length documentary.

A Two Way Mirror is a documentary film about one woman's journey to self-awareness, confidence and maturity. Director Katarina Zrinka Matijević has scored a number of successes with this film: Oktavijan Award for documentary film (Croatian Film Days 2016); Sarajevo Film Festival – competition; Liburnia Film Festival 2016 – jury special mention, best cinematographer (Vjeran Hrpka), best sound design (Vesna Biljan Pušić, Ivan Zelić); DOKUart Bjelovar; Jihlava International Documentary Film Festival – Between the Seas; Slobodna Zona Belgrade; Mediterranean Film Festival Cannes – official selection; Festival dei Popoli – international competition.

A screening schedule for May is available on the pages of Zlatna Vrata Cinematheque in Split, Valli Cinema in Pula, and Ivan Rabuzin Cultural Centre in Novi Marof is independently releasing the films in June, as well.
