Dum Spiro Spero Travels to Krakow

The film directed by the famous writer and literary editor Pero Kvesić, Dum Spiro Spero, continues its successful festival career; following a series of awards and tours around local and foreign festival, the film travels to Krakow to compete at the 57th edition of Krakow Film Festival, taking place between 28 May and 4 June 2017.

In his film debut, this acclaimed writer, journalist and editor speaks about the loss of his vital strength and the power the cope with the loss. Everyone dies the moment they are born, which is the best reason to understand the values of life and enjoy its pleasures.

So far the film has won a host of awards: a Grand Prix at the Croatian Film Days, the Vedran Šamanović Award at Pula Film Festival, best film at Liburnia Film Festival, best documentary film at Festival dei Popoli in Italy, best documentary film at La Cabina festival in Spain. Its international premiere took place at DOK Leipzig.
