Andrej Korovljev was born in 1970 in Pula, Croatia. After completing high school he studied Mechanical Engineering in Zagreb. In 1995 he moved to London, UK and studied Film Directing at Westminster University. After the studies he moved back to Croatia where he started to work professionally. He directed several short films, documentaries, television programs and music videos. In 1999 he directed A Story from Pula, a documentary about some of Pula's citizens who live on the margins of society. The following year he directed The Years of Rust, a documentary that won Best Documentary Film Award, Jelena Rajković Award for Best Young Director and Best Editing Award at the Days of Croatian Film 2000. His main domain of commercial work is TV advertising. He directed several hundreds of ads for largest Croatian corporations as well as for the ones outside Croatia. He was awarded many times nationally and internationally for his commercials, documentaries and music videos. Andrej is a member of Croatian Guild of Film directors.
